Miniature controller for inductive displacement sensors

The new induSENSOR MSC7401 controller is designed to operate with LVDT and LDR measuring gauges and displacement sensors, which are primarily used for measuring displacement, distance, position, oscillation and vibration

Precision sensor manufacturer Micro-Epsilon has introduced a miniature controller for inductive displacement sensors.

The new induSENSOR MSC7401 controller is designed to operate with LVDT and LDR measuring gauges and displacement sensors, which are primarily used for measuring displacement, distance, position, oscillation and vibration. This offers high application versatility for measurement tasks in automation, machine building, quality control, test benches, hydraulics and automotive technologies.

The universal single channel controller is robust, compact, reliable and easy to use. Parameter set up of the controller is carried out using keypad buttons or the software provided.

Connection is possible via a configurable current and voltage output.

The MSC7401 controller is protected by an IP67 rated aluminium enclosure, making it ideal for harsh industrial applications in which water and dust are present.

Together with inductive sensors from the Micro-Epsilon range, the controller offers an attractive price/performance ratio, particularly in high volume OEM applications.

The performance of the controller is impressive, with a resolution up to 13 bits (depending on the connected sensor and chosen frequency) and a high linearity of 0.02% FSO.
