Synchronous capture of digital sensor signals and encoder data

The IF2008 PCIe interface card from Micro-Epsilon is designed for installation in PCs with PCI Express interface slots

Precision sensor manufacturer Micro-Epsilon has introduced a new interface card for PCs that enables absolute synchronous capture of digital sensor signals and encoder data.

The IF2008 PCIe interface card from Micro-Epsilon is designed for installation in PCs with PCI Express interface slots.

Absolute synchronous data acquisition plays an important role in measurement applications, particularly for planarity and thickness measurement tasks.

The IF2008 PCIe interface card enables the synchronous capture of four digital sensor signals and two encoders.

The data is stored in a FIFO memory in order to allow resource-saving processing in the PC in blocks.

In addition, the IF2008E expansion board offers two sensor inputs, two ADC inputs, four optocoupler inputs and four optocoupler outputs.

Using both cards, a total of six digital sensors, two analogue sensors and two encoders can be connected for synchronous measurements.
