Thermography training for the UK and Ireland

FLIR ITC, an accredited authorised training organisation for the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, has just released forthcoming dates and venues for its Category 1 and 2 thermography courses.

Category 1 students learn the basics of infrared, how to operate the camera under different conditions and for various purposes.

Guidance is also given on how to make judgements in the field and identify potential error sources.

The four-day course costs £1410 + VAT (€1725) but a premium package is also available that includes 12 months of ITC online training, proceedings from the ITC Inframation conference and a FLIR TG165 visual thermometer.

For Category 1 certified thermographers wishing to broaden and deepen their knowledge of infrared physics, heat science, infrared measuring equipment and its application, the Category 2 thermography training course is a comprehensive package.

It qualifies students to provide guidance to Category 1 personnel in areas of equipment selection, techniques, technology limitations, data analysis, corrective actions and reporting. The cost of this five-day course is £1715 + VAT (€2100).
